Emoticons

The availabe emoticons are listed in "jeti" "options" "emoticons" Enable the ones you wish to use. You can set the emoticons to a transport type in the type field, then those emoticons will be selected when you are talking to a contact on that network. (set to default to have 1 set for all networks)

Roster icons are listed in "jeti" "options" "Roster Icons" they can also be set per network, or to default then they will replace the icons on the jeti menu.

New Emoticons and Rostericons are available from

Just download a set and save in the "jeti directory"/plugins/emoticons (rostericons)
Press scan emoticons in "jeti" "options" "emoticons" (rostericons) to make the new emoticon or rostericon set available.

If you want to make your own, you can use the jisp editor

Spellcheck

To use the spell check you need some dictionaries

English, German, French, Dutch, Danish Dictionaries

Just extract to a dictionaries directory and enable the spell plugin in jet->options

Other languages are available form: http://www.winedt.org/Dict/

They need to be converted to the right format with a java -jar spell.jar language.in language.dico and put the resulting .dico file in a dictionaries directory of your jeti directory

You can change the spelling by right clicking on wrong words or by pressing ctrl-space for autocompletion of words

Look And Feels

If you want to change how Jeti looks you can download a new look from http://www.javootoo.com. The downloaded jar should be put in the plugins/lf directory of Jeti. The look can then be selected in options/lf, if the lf plugins is enabled.

The FH Look and Feel and the Teknolust Look And Feel are not supported by Jeti.

If a Look and Feel does not appear in the lf options page it is probably not yet added to the lookandfeel.cfg file in the /plugins/lf directory.

TinyLaF has a nice theme builder if jou start tinylaf.jar, save the theme with "save as default" and copy the default.theme file to the root of your jeti dir to select that theme in Jeti.
